2.0 x-flow swap
My friend threw a rod in his 84 GTI today. He had it towed to Momentum, and they quotes him $2000 for a 2.0 swap, that's parts and labor, plus a 90 day warranty on the engine. If he brings them a 2.0 tranny there will be no charge to install it also. Does that sound like a fair price?
I wanted him to do the 1.8T, it's only $8000...
