you're bright enough to ask about this before blindly jumping into it. the truth is you can turbocharge anything. the questions is will you do it safely and efficiently?

now, i agree with mk4-gasm on this. however, i think what you should is go and read up on turbocharging engines and save your money while doing so. when you figure out what your goals are and what will best fulfill them - for example, will you be better off rebuilding the engine for boost or do you just want a low-boost system for high compression? then come and ask the specific questions that you'll have by then.
