price question
Hey all,
I was riding through my town today and found this lil side car dealer with a pretty clean Mk1 Rabbit convertible sitting on his lot. The body has no signs of damage or rust and the paint looks pretty clean. The top looks brand spanking new! The only thing I found showing the car has been worked on is the lock cylinder to the rear hatch, it's like the seal was installed wrong because it's falling in a little bit (yeah I was looking that hard).
I called him over the phone the next day to see what he was asking and he was quick to say $2400 and he was taking cash offers to sell it. I still have to see how many miles and what the engine condition is but what do you all think is a fair price? $2400 or should I take him down a little?
