Cams wakeup 12V's. Most of the gains will be peak and on the top end of the power band. Cams are more like moving the powerband around more then big overall gains.
It would be a great idea to replace the valve springs. Higher lift demands a heavier valve spring. Idle should be good, alittle more lob then stock but defiantely tolerable. Would be a nice compliment to the EIP software. Probable overall gains would be 15 peak hp and 8-10hp across the powerband.
