Yeah, the ABA was the 2L used in the MK3 chassis. The counterflow head was anything early with the intake and exhaust manifold on the same side. I've never had any success with head codes. I just look at them.
Cable trannies came in the above listed cars with 4cyls and everything with a VR6 ot TDI.
