I picked this up about a month and a half ago for $3500 while looking for a B5 V6 for my wife. It's a '96 Passat TDI. Too good of a deal and I couldn't pass it up since they usually go for $7000. The issue that dropped the price was a simple injection pump leak. Cost me $19 to fix. The car was stock when I got it.

I still have to complete the interior by purchasing the proper leather door cards and leather rear seat but as you can see I've gotten a lot done in a short time from originally picking up a non-running half-priced car on the tow dolley not two months agi... especially considering this is my first TDI.
