That was my first thought, but never having to make my own tire cover I though I would ask first.
I have a 6 1/2" Bazooka sub to mount as well. I guess it would be ok mounted to the side of the mdf tire cover, supported by the underbody back there.
Maybe I could put hinges on it so it stays in place and a prop to hold it up, like a hood? Of course the prop would be on the same side as the sub to support the weight.
Anyone ever done this, any thoughts? I never want to have to Use the spare, but it would be nice if and when I did.
