Default 1970 Repair Manual?
I have a Repair or I should say service manual for my
2000 Jeep TJ Wrangler
1998 Jeep XJ Cherokee
1974 Toyota Land Cruiser actually my buddy's because I'm helping him rebuild.

Anyways is there or did VW make a Service manual that is detailed that is available to the common joe? I'm looking to tear down my wifes first car 1970 Beetle and well I'd like to know torque values of things. I'd like to start with removing the motor and completely tearing it apart and giving it an overhaul. I do remember seeing rebuild kits in the past. Would be nice to convert it from a dual port 1600 to a dual port 1776. Rake the front some and some other things.

Does anybody have a source?
