Hi, Im new to volkswagens. Im looking into getting into rally racing, and the first car im going to build is going to be a mk2 golf. I got this car free from a buddy and it currently has a diesel engine in it. The Diesel isnt exactly great for rally, so i want to swap an engine in it, what is the best compatable engine/tranny i can swap into this car... I prefer a motor with electronic fuel injection that has a turbo, or that i can turbo charge easily. I have experience with swaps, I own an r32 skyline gts-t that i have swapped an rb20 for an rb25 so i know what im doing mechanically, i just have no knowledge about volkswagens. Any input would be helpful, thanks.
