all major services like 32k, 64k, 96k (kms cuz i'm canadian

) are just a money-grab for the dealers/shops. just remember the dealer will tell u:
- Brake flush every 2 years
- Coolant flush every 3 years
- Timing belt every 100k. They will often upsell u with Water pump and/or Tensioner.
- Serpentine belt will ALWAYS "crack"
- CV Boot will ALWAYS "leak"
- Brake pads/rotors. Since VW dealerships will NOT refinish rotors, ur looking at about $8-900 for F+R.
i'm not saying don't get those inspected and replaced... everybodys got somebody that knows somebody that works at a private shop. just get the VW parts and forget the $120+/hour labor at the dealership.
