it's all good, turns out it was the oil pressure switch just to the left of the flange. i couldnt really see it leaking cuz of the rubber boot so the first place i saw it show up was on the flange. i changed the sensor and oil leak is gone. thanks for your input, really glad it turned out to be something small and easy to fix
