Did you spray some liquid wrench or wd40 before trying . hat sucks is with out the spring caps on the later cars the dirt an weathering tends to get in there. using a chemical release solvent will break up the rust an or white stuff. Spray it let it sit. try again if no go then get a impact on it. You should be able to buy a replacement nut but the strut will have to be replaced if you plan to futher use the allen option
