Default 2004 Passat GLS Lurching at Stoplights

Well I bought this car about 3 wks ago and had it checked by a VW guy near my house and he gave it a clean bill of health. But after driving it for a few weeks I have noticed that the car will lurch forward when stopped at a stop light. It is not a consistent issue but will happen multiple times at one stop light and none at another. I have tried to check to see if it was the tiptronic and I have confirmed that it happens in both normal Drive or when using tiptronic.
The basic run down of the problem is:
When stopped at a stoplight I will get a drop in RPM and the car will try and pull forward. It almost feels like you are releasing the clutch on a manual transmission with the brake applied. So my hope that it is nothing but a sensor issue but I also wonder if a ATF flush would help this issue also. I do not hear any major noises when shifting through the gears at a standstill and is a nice smooth ride when shifting under load. I have driven many manuals and automatics and have never seen this before. It is not a major problem for now but I want to make sure I nip this one in the bud before it gets worse and end up in the back of the car in front of me.
