First off the only reason I hang out on this forum is because I really liked the people that were on it when I first started posting on it, and I'd hate for people asking for some help to not have someone there to get to them just because the original owner of this site sold out and it went to shit. I don't do it to make me feel special, I do it because I love Volkswagens and it's a group of enthusiasts who are generally not assholes, with the occasional one such as yourself thrown into the group. I repeat what other people have said because of a few simple facts:
1. Most new posts are repetitive
2. Most new users refuse/won't use the search function
3. A lot of people get sick of answering the same questions
4. Although common knowledge to some people, a lot of questions I've answered the OP didn't know the answer to
I used to do this as a favor to those who taught me a little bit when I first joined because I know how frustrating it gets to repeat yourself a thousand times to each new member, NOT to make me feel better. I don't need to be a VW gearhead to answer a lot of the questions that come up on this site, so I do my best to help them. Half of knowledge is gained out of experience and half of it is gained from learning from watching, or reading in the case of this forum. I like how you make remarks towards the OP about him designating you as part of the younger crowd yet you tell me to "run along little boy" in a very condescending manner. I don't know where you came from but your head is way bigger than it should be if you think I come on here to impress people such as yourself, or any other member.
