Noisy reverse
My 96 VW Jetta 2.0L is making a lot of noise in reverse and it is getting worse. No jumping out like in other posts. All other gears work fine. 180k on speedo. Is a reman trans the best fix. $900 + clutch seems like a lot to put into the car. Can anyone repair in Atlanta area? Advise
