1984 rabbit convertable
Shit dog, you gotta remove your whole axle beam assembly, undo some bolts on the ends of the tank straps, dissconnect your fuel lines and then carefully maneuver that sliotch out of there. There's a continuous flange on the front of the tank with some padded trim that need to be taken off if I remember correctly. I did the procedure about three years ago so I may have forgotten something.
