BS i want the dang things replaced now. i asked if i could buy them, replace them myself, and then mail in the recipts to be reimbursed, he hits me with they do not have the revised ones in stock yet. BS. anyone get a similiar story? Can not get satisfaction from the service at the dealership, Royal Volkswagen in Birmingham, AL, regarding a windshield wiper system malfunction. Inform me that VW's never been aware of this problem and can't just order replacements parts without reproducing the problem. In twice for repair/replacement and why not satisfy the customer, rather than someone be injured while driving in the rain? It's as if they don't believe it's happening.

I've owned 49 vehicles in my life and feel quite comfortable I've more than adequately described the issue.

A call to VW will ensue, if this is not settled. :mad: :confused:

Just opened this account to help my daughter with her new Jetta,(2003 gls), he old one 2001 was totaled out last week on turnpike.
Some ass cut her off and fled the scene,hit her and spun her out into guard rail.
After seeing the Jetta, convinced the car saved her life.

Just purchased my first golf. It is a 55 plate 2.0 TDI 140 4motion. 53k and FSH.

When i the engine is accelerating and de-accelerating i hear a small like siren noise coming from the car. The car runs perfect but this noise is starting to irritate me. Do i have a major problem here?? Have any of you experienced this or know what's causing this?

I pulled over, shut her down and popped the hood..nothing seemed wrong, but it was pitch black outside.. but since I was only 6 blocks from home I figured I'd take a chance and drive the rest of the way home, the check engine light flashed all the way home and the car still had barely anything for power, when I got home I popped the hood and it smelt like...burnt something?..

Any ideas? please help.. I'm getting frustrated with this car..

Noises come from the front right wheel of the car area and gives a "clunk" then followed by clicking as i turn the steering wheel.

it is not clicking that follows the turning of the axle, but instead only clicks IF i continue to turn the steering wheel.

I am thinking that it is the upper strut bearing on that side, but i am hearing about possibly a outer CV issue.

i woudl think that would have a clicking that follows the rotation of the axle itself, but maybe i am wrong. any thoughts on this?
