I never thought I would own a VW but yesterday I got a deal on a nice Passat I couldn't resist. I recently purchased a 2006 3.6 V6 Passat with 34100 miles. I am enjoying the car so far. Very smooth, perfect interior, very nice sound system... the car is just nice.

Its been taking me some time to figure this car out but little by little I keep finding more buttons to press and what not.

My first car at 18 was a 1976-ish VW Beetle that my dad and I fixed up to get roadworthy. I drove it for about 2 years while I was a student at university until one of the pistons hit a hole through the side of the block. My second car was a VW Jetta I bought at an auction. Once again it needed quite a bit of work to get roadworthy but it did see me through university. I owned some other cars since then and now we have a 2009 VW Routan we bought in March 2010.

Not exactly new to Veedub's but this is the first one i'll be dumping money into. Own a few other cars to include a B5.5 and a Stang.

Paint and interior is pretty clean with only 40,000 miles on it. Test drove it and i had a blast flipping through the gears and pegging the spedo in what seemed like almost no time at all

I've only done 350 miles in it so far but I'm very pleased with what I've bought so far. I've gone from a '53 plate Vectra 2.0 TDI so although the external size of the car is smaller the internal size is ver impressive in the Golf Plus.

I've joined this forum because I am completely clueless about cars so as and when I have any problems with the car then I'll have a place to come to for asking the stupid questions.
