Can not get satisfaction from the service at the dealership, Royal Volkswagen in Birmingham, AL, regarding a windshield wiper system malfunction. Inform me that VW's never been aware of this problem and can't just order replacements parts without reproducing the problem. In twice for repair/replacement and why not satisfy the customer, rather than someone be injured while driving in the rain? It's as if they don't believe it's happening.

I've owned 49 vehicles in my life and feel quite comfortable I've more than adequately described the issue.

A call to VW will ensue, if this is not settled.

Hi everyone,
Just opened this account to help my daughter with her new Jetta,(2003 gls), he old one 2001 was totaled out last week on turnpike.
Some ass cut her off and fled the scene, hit her and spun her out into guard rail.
After seeing the Jetta, convinced the car saved her life.
Wish I didn't lose the pics on my cell phone.
Anyway plan on enjoying this new car and the site.
Thanks.

TMC Motorsport Tuning Boxes

TMC Motorsport Tuning Boxes
Hello friends, I would like to introduce myself and my company TMC Motorsport, we supply a large range of plug in engine tuning kits for almost all Audi/VW diesel engined models and also for all of the TSi/TFSi gasoline turbo engines.

We also supply ECU re-mapping equipment and tuning files for most makes of European cars. We offer excellent discounts to bona fide trade customers who wish to distribute our products.

Our tuning boxes are an alternative to chip tuning/ re-mapping for those who are concerned about warranty issues as our units are fully plug in and when removed leave no trace of the car being modified. Also the very newest Audi/VW models can no longer be re-mapped via OBD port, to do them the ECU must be opened and programmed direct to the PCB board but breaking the ECU seal will invalidate warranty.

TMC tuning kits will give similar gains to chip tuning and use multiple connections to the engine to control fuelling, turbo pressure and timing. Our units come with 30 days money back guarantee and 3 years warranty. Most kits can be fitted in around 15 minutes and are German manufactured with most carrying the German TUV certification.

We are offering a special forum price of £299 GBP on our Premium range which includes shipping to USA or Canada and accept secure payment by credit/debit cards or Paypal.

If anyone has any questions I will be happy to answer them. Please remember the timezone difference which may delay my replys at certain times.

Please visit our website TMC Motorsport - Car Tuning Kits - Diesel Tuning Kits - Engine Tuning Kits - ECU Flash - ECU Flashing (home) (http://www.tmcmotorsport.com) or email info@tmcmotorsport.com

Thank you.

Hello everybody,

I'm hopefully a few steps away from becoming a proud owner of a new Golf MK6. :) Not only that, but it's gonna be my first car too (actually it'll be both mine and my girlfriend's).

Now there are still a few things I am unsure about and I'd like to hear some opinions about one of them. Thing is we're both noob drivers and I'd rather play safe and get some sort of parking assistance. So I have to decide if I get optical parking sensors or the reversing camera (the camera would also force me to also get the cooler CD-player RCD510 so I kinda like the idea). None is also an option. :p

So which one should it be?

Thanks!

Hi guys. My car has been acting very weird lately. My car has manual transmision and you know if you release the clutch in a high gear from stop it stalls. Well the car acts like it is going to stall while in doing 70-80 mph on the highway when I take my foot of the pedal. All it does is, everything electrical shuts down for less of a second and then all the lights in the pannel light up and it says ABS fault, but nothing in the panel stay on like the check engine light or EPC . It also does it when I release the cluth in first gear, use the power window buttons to close them up, the lights dim, and today when I used my breaks (sometimes), and sometimes when I come to a stop light the car completly shuts down (this has happenes like 4 times). This happens is while the car is moving and it does not shut down. When I arrive my destination and I power off the car, eveything goes crazy, the clock and the miles display shut off (which it shouldn't), the gages needles go crazy then freeze and there is no power, then the switch where the key goes starts making a weird noise. Everything goes back to normal when I put the key in the switch and turn it back on. Any idea what might be causing this? I recently took the car for the Recalls that I had open and put in a new clutch (about 3 months ago) and after this is when this started. Also, I noticed a fine but high pitch noise in my radio, when I speed up that sounds gets louder. I dont hear it when I'm listening to a CD. Is this linked to my other problems, or is this one separate problem?

I own a VW 2006 Jetta. I chose a VW at the time because I thought they were cute. I had no idea I would grow to fall in love with this car. I have never had any problems and it drives the same way as when I drove it off the lot.

I grew up seeing VWs in movies, such as Herbie-the VW bettle. If I could own a second car I think I would go with something classic like a Bettle.
