Default 1979 super beetle beetle starting problem

My 1979 bug will not start when the air temperature is above approx. 88 degrees f. I have replaced the air flow meter and the temp sensor in the block. When temp is below 88 everything works perfectly. The fuel pump is not getting voltage when the temp is hot and the car will not start. Any ideas? Thanks.
