Default $8,900...reasonable asking price! (Potential Owner)

Heya! So i just about froze my shat off riding my motorcycle with some buddies to test drive this 1998 Volkswagon Passat. I really like the car but am curious to hear if you think the seller is asking a reasonable price!

Details
2 drop on H&R springs
Koni shocks
front strut brace
18 BBS ASA wheels with wheel locks on 225/45ZR18 fusion tires
spare winter tires on 15 steelies
slotted front rotors with front and rear top end pads

Engine:
2.0L audi a4 engine taken from a 2003 audi
Engine, including the turbo, have 54k on them.
Body has 103k on it.
Intake
GIAC chip (you have to run premium gasoline)
2.5 stainless turbo down pipe
2.5 stainless free flow dual tip exhaust with modified valence
210 ponies at the wheel

Lights:
FK led angle eye smoked headlights
smoked side blinkers
Altezza smoked tail lights
fog lights.

Other:
Kamei front grill
shorty antenna 6 disc changer,
wired for sub with stinger 4 gauge
wired for satellite radio
seats are cloth and heated.
Brand new paint job on hood, front bumper, brand new windshield.
NO RUST.
Never been in an accident!!

I don't think that 2003 A4's came with 2.0L.

The car looks like it is in good condition though. It doesn't seem like too bad of a price either.

Truepoint!! 1.8L my bad! Anyone else agree its an understandable price?

Price seems pretty reasonable for a private sale...blue book would be about $6K but that doesn't take any consideration in for the mods. Looks like a nice ride. Best of luck.

A little overpriced, you shouldn't be paying extra for mods on a car. Plus if that engine was swapped into it, it could be a headache...

True man, engine swaps could really be a pain in the ass...other thing is i agree just cause it has a lot of mods doesn't mean you gotta pay for it. The car looks great though. Good luck

tons of nice upgrades, but the price seems too steep to me. I paid $6500 for my 99' Passat GLS (all options and V6) it's in perfect condition, including the leather. It looks brand new inside and out.... but what I paid was a little too much in my opinion
