Default 92 cabriolet problem

Will make this as short as possible...but want to start at beginning...had catalytic converter and fuel pump replaced after having problem, pedal to the floor and no speed, car ran great for about 2 weeks...began stalling but able to start, had e-check done and passed...on way home stopped running when going 40 mph, able to restart, happened again and had to have car towed...replaced battery, had alternator checked, replaced spark plugs and car ran great for 1 week...75 on the interstate without a problem...the other day was stopped at red light, car just died and not able to restart...towed again...lights come on, battery checks out ok...son in law came down and we did some trouble shooting to see if we could isolate problem...2 things were apparent...tried to push start and couldn't get it going, also, with lights on pulled lever to switch to high beams and windshield wipers came on...when doing this heard clicking in solenoid (??) mounted on front of engine compartment in the center right below windshield. As you can see, not real auto repair smart and son-in-law has only dealt with American cars....any help would definitely be appreciated before having this thing towed to repair shop
