Default Alt Tangent LM Replicas

Anyone know anything, or have any input about Alt Tangents? What I am looking for is input about quality, etc.

Here are the wheels in question:

If I can, I'm gonna try and snag a set.

I was considering these for my GTI back in the day; I was told they don't fit as there is a slight caliper clearance issue; they will probably fit a 2.0 though, there were pictures of them on a Jetta on Vortex a few months ago. They looked good, but didn't really come too close to pulling off the look of the real thing. Still not a bad wheel.

They are a pretty good looking wheels but I'd be concerned with the fittment issue. I'm also not too sure if they totally look like LM's, the LM's are one of the wheels I'm considering to get when it comes time but the prices on some of these wheels(like all the ones I'm intrested in ) is crazy! I guess when I decide I'll just take out a second morgtage :P

A 2.0 MKIV can run the same offset wheel as a 1.8T or VR6. The difference is 2.0 is 11in rotors and the 1.8T and VR6 are 11.3, Both of which will fit behind a et38 15in wheel. So if has trouble clearing a 1.8T or VR6 caliper, it would probably be the same for a 2.0.

choung has those wheels. I also met a guy at an auto-x event that had them on his boxter. They looked damn similar to LMs. He said they are actual 2-piece wheels too (as the bolts come out and the face is separated from the barrel). I'd rock them if I had the cash for sure (black powder coated centers, gold wheel screws with black and gold BBS centercaps)

Just a quick Pshop. I swore I wasn't going to even think about new wheels until I had the money to buy baller status wheels like LMs.... but if these look close enough to LMs, why not get them? Probably smarter financially to get these over some silly expensive wheels. And I am a ricer, so I would probably get BBS centercaps, or maybe blank CF caps.

I think theyd have to have black centers to work right on your car. Or you can just keep the TT wheels.
