I'm thoroughly impressed! I have heard people say that they are wonderful cars but the handling left something to be desired. I think for stock, the GTI handled very well. IMO, it handled better than the 2002 Impreza.

Though the local dealer had no 2002s on the lot (the one I test drove belonged to him), I am going to wait a few weeks for the 2003s, which sound sweet.

Too bad they discontinued Cyber Green. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

I'm assuming so. I guess I'll go for Reflex Silver should I decide on the GTI.

Default Drove a 2002 GTI

I finally got my 2002 GTI 1.8T a month ago. I did hear a little negativity about how the 2001s handled but they did make inprovements on the 02 and im sure just the same on the 03. If you put a strut bar on the front, you'll notice a huge difference. Like riding on rails. Its a fairly cheap addition that makes a huge difference.
