Buying a "book of Knowledge" about your car is never a bad idea. Even a Haynes manual stinks for hard, detailed jobs, but for the simple stuff a novice should "really" being trying on their own, they are really not bad...Bentley's are the Shizzle though. (too bad a MKIV version is double the price of the MKIII!!!!!!!)
