Default new deck, same wires?

looking at a new radio deck.
i have some shit alpine right now which i already did the wiring from the stock radio.
if i buy a new deck, will i have to rewire again, or can i just plug the previous jack into the new deck?

probably need a new plug. hope you didnt cut the factory plug off. buy a plug and play harness.
enfig.com is great for all vw stereo stuff.

Even within the same brands the plugs and wire configs change. Have to rewire
