Projekt German Fall Tour (Dubuque, IA)

Just thought I'd share some pics of a tour me and a lot of others participated in last weekend, it was a blast and an amazing event that I hope we host every spring, summer, and fall. The roads are amazingly twisty smooth and traffic was minimal. The leaves were the perfect color as we'd find ourselves driving through what felt like endless tunnels of red and yellow and orange trees. We couldn't have asked for a better turnout as well.

Another set posted by a good buddy of ours...although for some reason I can't directly copy what he has to this board...stupid...anyhoooo

Gathering at gas station before the cruise:

Some wheel difficulties

Three full size spares later we found one that was the correct bolt pattern and didn't have nails in them

And we're off!

About an hour and a half later we reached our destination: downtown galena on the IL side of the mississippi river and headed off to a bar and grill to get our food on but first we met at the local park to bullshit:

The party that ensued (started drinking at ~6:00 PM...ended at about 2-3 AM)

Me enjoying one of the three 1/6 barrels of tap beer we had at our disposal...I believe that is Sam Adams Oktoberfest mmm

Party was so good even Jigsaw wanted to join us:
