what does a red circle with a red line through it mean on the dashboard symbols plz help

it means no smoking. we need info what year of car model and so on budd if you want help give us something to work with

hi m8 its a 53 plate mk4 4 its a small circle with a line through it in the multi function display next to distance driven average speed mpg etc etc
