still get error code p0171 after cleaning the MAF....couldnt find any vacuum leaks from looking at the plumbing from the hood...going to have to jack it up to get a better look, maybe make some disconnects to look for clogs....

but for the time being i bought a turbo inlet pipe, new maf, and a badgeless grille

Sounds like good progress. I debated about selling my strut bar or not.

try taking a lit cigarette, insence, a smoldering piece of paper, and let the smoke linger around the engine bay. with the car on of course. if there is a boost leak, it should be easier to find.

I just bought a jetta from my Boss because he hasn't driven it in a long time. Today was oil change day and air filter change day. The Air filter was pretty dirty. Taking the oil filter off was hell. My hands weren't strong enough... filter grips weren't strong enough. I resorted to The screwdriver method. STAB! Everything runs smoother now.

Zoom zoom! It's rained for about 48 hours straight here.....leaky sunroof, water coming through the dome lights.

Finally put winter wheels on, and lifted the car slightly.

Tire pressure light came on in the mk5. Fronts had like 15lbs in them. I swear the oem wheels leak air. Every set of tires leak.
