I have a 08 gti 2.0t and i was wondering what diverter valve i should get. I was told a 007 forge diverter valve is best. but what do you guys think. Are BOVs bad for gti
"Blow off valve" is often used to mean a diverter valve vented to the atmosphere instead of recirculating the air. These will make the engine run a bit rich when the valve opens because the ECU doesn't know the air has been vented.
