Winter Rims

Why do they all look like they are flat black, Would it be wrong to paint them with gloss black.

Mine are flat black becase i painted them flat black. Paint wheels whatever color you want. Or powdercoat them to do it right.

its a weird finish vw and alot of other companies put on them. reminds me of blueing on firearms.
