Default 79 rabbit fuel pump fuse ...Where????

I cannot find the fuse for the fuel pump.
It is suppose to be above the fuse box that contains the 15 fuses.
It is suppose to be fuse number 20.
I did find one fuse above the box but it has a glass fuse in it... how can I identify if it is the fuel pump fuse? and if it is, the metal strip is not broke in half its just real thin so isnt that a good fuse still??

the old ceremic fuses are thin, if the metal is not broken it should be ok, to help further investigate..... why are you looking into your fuel pump fuse as blown? if there is a problem with the fuel pump it could be a few things wrong... although checking fuses is a good first step to any possible electrical problem i think that if its an issue with fuel pumps you should look toward fuel filter, or the fuel pump directly, from what i've seen of bad fuel systems in older vw's i've rarelly heard that the fuel pump fuse blew.... i'd say that if you inspected fuses and they all look intact look toward filter or pump.... is the car fuel injected or carb'd???

Default fuses

I am just trying the cheapest fixes 1st.
I still cannot find the fuel pump fuse.
Now the brakes are going bad on my tarus so I have to get new pads before I can put any money into the rabbit.

The fuse is located on the fuel pump relay, which should be located on top of the fuse box

can you describe what the fuel pump relay looks like and do you mean the main fuse box inside the car? (on top of that set of fuses? there is a separate little black box with one red fuse in it. Can anyone take a picture of where it is at?
