South African, yes. They make the Caddy still too. As far as I know, up until a few years ago you could still get a 2dr. Last year they got cool 1pc door windows without vent windows.

could you import it like you can rallye golfs from canada and europe??? If so, I'd be up for that in a few years. Although I do love the old style caddys.
edit...I just checked out the link. looks like the caddy is a stupid looking van-thing, and the pickup is the old looking "caddy"

Im still very curious as to where i might be able to pick up stuff from this thing or even the whole car...any ideas....or is does eveyone have no idea

Ahh.. the citi golf, how i long for thee. :P

I hear some people in Canada got their hands on Citi golfs and Caddys. Not as easy to get cars like that into the US. I want one so bad.

That is def. the hottness! Mk1 with a Mk4 interior!

EDIT: Just cheked out the site a little more, and noticed that the Citi Golf and Pickup come in Black Magic Pearl, Jazz Blue, and Tornado Red! Soooo hott!!! Somebody has to get one of these!
