Cab Questions...

I am considering purchasing an '82 Cabriolet that is a little unique as far as I can tell. It has a 1.7 ltr, DOHC, 4 wheel disc, and a 'performance' suspension. Did VW make a model like this or has someone done the mods after market? TIA

So, what would one expect to pay for a car like this:

82 Cabriolet
1.7 liter DOHC
114,000 miles
Yellow w/white top (body is very straight, no rust, three minor surface scratches, top has about two years life left in it by my guess - no holes or leaks - I tested it at a car wash, Interior is very clean with one small tear in drivers seat.)
15" ICW rims w/Nitto tires (plenty of meat left)
Sony CD player and amp w/kicker sub and spkrs
Tinted windows w/lifetime warranty

Only problem with the car was the A/C has a leak and will cost from $200 to $450 to be fixed.

2k-3k$ i would offer 2,500 and if does not want to sell it for that after a while of bothering him...then yea 3,000$

I believe those were mods. done after the fact.
