well the fuel pump is bad,i have a lot of pumps here for other applications,and was wondering what psi is needed for the engine to run right?maybe a ranger pump?i just want to know if the engine is good/clutch/trans ect before i invest $$$ in this car,thanks,mike

You need the right pump for the car. Fuel pressure is around 70psi... twice that of most fuel injected cars.

yeah u gotta get a car with k-jet engine for example i know ford escort xr3i is k-jet and also work cause pump changes pressure all the time going up to 6 or 7 bar at times i think, so definately worth getting the correct one

well i worked on the car all day yesterday and found that the fuel dist was bad and i give up,today it lives at the scrapyard.312.00 for this piece of crap,good-by rabbit,i will stick with holley 4bbls and gm fuel injection,thanks,but thanks for the help guys!
