Default help 78 rabbit won't run

my 78 rabbit started running rough, it fells like someone turns the spark on and off quicky so the car bucks really bad. i replaced the coil, cap, wires, spark plugs, and points. it also has a new alternater,starter, and headgasket. my budget on this car is running low and im about to give up on it. So any advice i will take. thanks

Sounds almost like the spark plug wires are out of sequence. I did that once and from then on I always write it down or take a pic before any work is done.

Did you replace your condensor? Its hard to change on the rabbit but you can spin the distributor around enough to switch it out. You should always replace your condensor with your points.
