I own a 1984 rabbit. Its cis injected, and its been idling rather high, at around 1800 rpms. I know that it should'nt be, but so far the reason for this has eluded me. i would appreciate any help. thanks

Has the idle been high for a while? You can adjust the idle screw ,First loosen the 10mm nut and turn out the screw. If not your timing may adjusting.

yea there is a 7mm idle screw behind your intake manifold area that if you screw down it will lower your idle speed.
