Default just purchased 79 rabbit

i just got a rare deal- 1979 VW Rabbit "L" , 55k original miles everything works and car is in 96%perfect condition, i'll try and get some pics this weekend, not planing on doing anything to it just keepin it oem and beautiful. lemme know what you guys think.

yeah atomic has tons of cool stuff and the owner rocks,... i haven't worked on an 8 valve for awhile, with its 1.6 liter engine i'll have some raw power thats for sure, and as far as "points" for distributor i'm gonna have to study up cause i know nothing about them other than doesn't use haul sender. only 2 downfalls to the car, no rearview mirror which is an easy fix, and no horn, the horn will need investigated. all in all i think i paid a little much but got a decent deal runs and drives well and only 55,000 true miles.

If the car is as nice as you say it is, I'm sure you got your moneys worth. It's as rare as can be to find one with less than 75k and in really good shape.

I've been looking for the right one for the last 2 years and haven't found it yet.

sorry guys still working on pics didn't have the nicest weather this weekend, i think its the first time this car has felt rain. yeah i'm not gonna do much, suspension and nice deep dish 14's or 15's polished lip and powder coated baby blue to match the car. i'll work on them pics tomorrow.
