As for the weight issue, if the front end gains 150 lbs. from the VR6, couldn't you just add 150 lbs (or close to it) in the rear to even up the weight distribution? Keep the full interior (rear) add a rear strut bar and sway bar, chunky roll cage in the rear, wide tires in the rear(deep dish ), synchro conversion (that one's for you Aaron ). You know, as much as you can to even it up.....

Yea that cars seems like it would be fun as hell on a straight away , but yea the handling probably went to hell. But that how it is with MK2 VR6 Swaps too. They lose alittle bit of handling to. But I still think it would be a fun ass car.
