Default Motor Swap

Hey guys my Cabriolet right now has a CIS 8v motor.. its a junk motor and it isn't working out well... I just bought a Digi II 8v motor that I believe will bolt right up with no problme... I just brought it home and the only difference to me is the computer and the intake... tell me if I'm wrong please... I came with everything and I think it should bolt right up to the trans and everything...

Im assuming its a 2H cabby Digi engine? If so you would need to swap everything over including injector harness etc. And you will need to change the fuel pump over to the one from the Digi car (much lower fuel pressure than the CIS fuel pump). You can also just use the longblock if your issues are with the engine itself, but you will have to change the injector bushings to CIS ones. Been a while but pretty sure they are interchangeable.

CIS is a better injection performance wise. If your issues are injection related you just need to bust out the Bentley and trace down the issues, Digi swap will obviously be a little more intailed than just changing out the longblock.
