Default My 1982 Caddy Diesel Project

I thought it would be cool to share some photos of my project. Here they are:

Right now, I am taking care of some of the rust spots, while awaiting to repair the motor, so it looks like one of those trucks out of Sport Truck magazine from back in the days; it has a crazy paint scheme now with white primer spots all over.

How exact are we talking about here? I went to the VW swap meet last October in Englishtown, NJ and one of the previous owners showed up. I was away from the truck at that moment.

Oh, I see.
I was thinking of painting mine with flat black, but then I changed my mind to paint it with the original color. But now, after sanding out a few rust spots, I am considering just leave the bare metal with a couple of clear coats.
