Default rabbit cabrio headlight swap to rabbit gti

84? rabbit cabrio with the euro grill would the radiator support and grill fit into my rabbit gti?

Hi I just joined because I bought by 1984 Rabbit covertible back from the person I sold it to 6 years ago. I put in the Hella driving light grille and had to fabricate adapters to provide a 1/2 inch clearance for the driving lights. Hope this info helps.
