Default Sat for 4 years. What to do?
Brand new to the VW thing and diesel so please save the noob flogging. That said, I just purchased an 82 VW diesel pickup which sat for about 4 years before I purchased it. It came from the Arizona heat in Sun City. It is fairly low mileage (69K). I was just wondering what I should do to it before taking it out on the road. Any tips will help. Thanks in advance!

Drain all fluids, change all gaskets, inspect every hose/line to start.

New tires, brakes.

run a can of lubro moly diesel purge through it. and you'll have a sexy running car
