BAE made turbo kits for 8vs back in the early/mid '80's using RayJay turbochargers. Most BAE kits were designed for diesels and many of the 'kits' you see today are simply diesel kits that are missing most of the parts like the special intake manifold.

These kits originally included a small diameter downpipe, oil feed and drains, intake, exhaust manifolds and a single connector.

By todays standards the turbo is outdated and hard to find parts for, it's small and not going to make much power. I've owned one of these kits. I think I got $375 for it and mine was 100% complete.
