Default warm up regulator

might be a dumb question, new to VW, does anyone know the location of the warm up regulator on a 83 GTI 1.8? have a bentley and it is nowhere in there, is it under a different name?
working on setting up a adjustable control pressure regulator, but need to move the warm up regulator to accomplish, any help?

Default warm up regulator

the warm-up regulator is located just below the head in approximately the center of the block it will have two braided steel fuel lines running to it.

Default warm up regulator

I beleive they call it a cold start solonod.
