What's my 82 rabbit convertable worth?
-needs new fuel pump -passenger door smashed shut (i have an extra door, minimal damage to body other than door) -needs new rear shocks -probaly could use new exhaust -185k on the car 90k on the transmisson about 3k on the cluctch -rest of body and paint ok -newer breaks -newer tires -top in great condition -with new pump, runs like a top (but what old vw doesn't right?) -interior still nice hate to get ride of her, but i got another old classic to love/hate, SAAB! so obvioulsy not all the info needed.... but as far as some questimates what ya think |

just picked one up for 500, needs a top but dosnt have the other problems your has...I think the pricing would depend on how fast you want to sell it, you could probably get 1000 eventually

With a dead fuel pump and body damage an '82 Rab Vert on the west coast is worth its scrap weight which is about $65 at the moment. Sad part is... I'm not kidding. There are four of them at the local pull-a-part that came in in about the same condition and I know they didn't pay more than $40 each for them.
East coast... not sure.
