The wipers have suddenly stopped working on my Mk1 Cabriolet. I've checked the fuse and it's fine...... fuses are about my skill level so now I'm stuck.... can anybody give me some pointers on where to start?
Has the blower motor also suddenly failed? If so, it's probably a faulty/loose/water-logged Load Reduction relay. Locate it on the fuse/relay panel; try jiggling it a bit and see if the wipers & blower motor don't start working again.
Also check the wiper relay as it also suffers the same fate as the load reduction relay. There would be a lot more M-1s around if a leaking windshield gaskert did not ruin the fuse box and relays.
