Default 16V Conversion

I'm fitting a 1.8 16V KR to my 1990 Mk II Jetta GTi (RHD) with a broken 1.8 EV (K-Jet)engine.
It has power steering and a/c and any tips would be appreciated.

ur engine is gonna look super sweet if you retain digi 2 injection (if u have it) the only things u will need to do the digi 16v would be new fuel rail.i think injectors. and theres a couple other things too im not quite sure. if you want even more power though run digi 1

Thanks for the help bro. Injection's pre-digi
K-Jetronic and so's the 8 Valve so I'm not sure what to do as I don't have £$100's to spend.

i dont think digi injection would be too much. im not sure what kind if any junkyards you have out there but that would be the place to look. if not you might be able to keep stand alone kind of cheap..thats good for turbos in the future

K-jetronic is cis. Swapping to digi II would be a waste of time, but if you can score a digi I harness/ecu, you're on your way to a good start.
