im new to this forum but i have been wanting a mk2 for a while and finally got one, however i got the 8v engine with 211,000 miles!!!. I'm looking to do a engine swap but dont know what would be best, i'd really like to do a vr6 or the 16v. which would be easiest or make more sense?
The 16v because it's the same block so you shouldnt have to modify any engine mount and a lot more less modification to the car so i wouldnt put a vr6 in it. And it should be easier to find part for your 16v then the vr6.
