Default 90 jetta engine swap

I have a 90 jetta w/1.8L 8v
I would like to know if i should drop in a corrado vr6 or a corrado supercharged, or a 1.8L 16v turbo
I'm worried about weight and mods you can make to each engine

the corrado (obd 1) vr engine is killer but weighs alot. if youre going to put out the money to do the vr swap, but youre worried about mods and weight, go with the 1.8t swap. its a little expensive but definately worth its weight in gold. with that engine you can do a front mount intercooler, abd or X-chip, and exhaust and be up around 250 hp. and in a mk2 jetta, that would haul donkeys. im in the process of locating one for my car now. its definately the way to go in my opinion. oh and its a 20 valve turbo, not a 16 valve.
