Default Dash speaker replacement issues

Im replacing the speakers built into the dash because theyve perished and make a funny buzzing sound if the music is too loud.

The replacement articles are fine but i can't for the life of me see how you remove the old ones without removing the dash too. I cant get a screw driver to the screws or a screw driver head on a ratchet.

please tell me theres a very easy way of doing it that doesnt involve removing the dash.

like liquidmike stated try and find a 90 degree screw driver, or get a ratchet and a 1/4 inch socket and use a phillips head screwdriver bit. that is what worked for me in my mk2 and now the mk3
